What DC Rivals HyperCoaster is
Opened in 2017, DC Rivals is a Mack hypercoaster themed around DC heroes and villains racing. Published height is about 62 metres. It includes a twist / non-inverting element that looks more dramatic from the ground than it rides, plus a long layout for an Australian theme-park coaster.
Movie World’s other headline coasters (Superman Escape, Batwing) are a different height and intensity. DC Rivals is the one you see from the car park.
Height is 130 cm. Queensland summer heat makes this a morning or evening ride if you can choose.
What to expect
A tall first drop, airtime hills and a twisted element on a hyper-style train. Check current inversion / roll descriptions on the park site; marketing names for elements change.
Front row is the Gold Coast view. It is a full hyper circuit, not a shuttle.
