Three rides, three jobs
Islands of Adventure is themed islands with a coaster problem in the middle. Hagrid’s is the story launch. VelociCoaster is the intense launch. Hulk is the inversion machine. They do not substitute for each other.

A walking order
Hogsmeade and Jurassic World are a walk. Marvel Super Hero Island is another. Do not collect islands at random.
- Rope drop: Hagrid’s, unless the whole group is here for VelociCoaster and all meet 130 cm.
- Late morning: VelociCoaster while you are in Jurassic World — the stall over the water is the POV moment.
- Afternoon: Hulk if you still want inversions, or leave. Express Pass changes this order; without it, two of the three is a successful day.

What you can skip
Hulk is skippable if VelociCoaster already delivered inversions and someone hates over-the-shoulder restraints. The islands’ other attractions are real, but they are not why this index’s IOA pages exist. Do not let a third-tier wait steal the second headliner.
