The year’s biggest new coaster is an indoor family hybrid at Dollywood. Alton Towers opened a 90 cm Bluey ride. Knott’s brought a shuttle loop back from the dead. A lot of the “2026” announcement list is now a 2027 list.
Dollywood opened its $50 million indoor Mack hybrid on 19 August. The published height is 39 inches. The point of the ride is wet-day family capacity, not a new speed ranking.

Disney reopened the Hollywood Studios launched coaster on 26 May 2026 with The Electric Mayhem in the limos. The layout did not move. The courtyard, the queue and the soundtrack did.
Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! opened in CBeebies Land on 28 March 2026. The published minimum is 0.9 m. That is a different Alton day from the 140 cm inversion machines, and it is the one a lot of UK families were missing.
