How to split a mixed-height group
Measure riders the night before, in socks, against a proper mark. If someone is within a couple of centimetres of a line, assume they may be turned away and have a fallback in the same land.
- Big Thunder Mountain at 102 cm is the island mine train — the outdoor family coaster most mixed groups can share in Disneyland Park.
- Crush’s Coaster at 107 cm is in the other park, spins in the dark, and queues like a headliner. Premier Access belongs there if you have it.
- Hyperspace Mountain and other thrill listings are not fully specified on this page. Open the official chart rather than guessing from Florida.
Two parks, two height problems
A park hopper does not make Crush’s Coaster a Disneyland Park ride. Budget the walk (and the second gate) before you promise a 107 cm rider “we’ll do Crush after Big Thunder”.
Big Thunder in Paris sits on an island. The station is not a hop from the castle hub. Measure, then walk with a plan.
