Cedar Point height requirements

The listed minimums on this site

Cedar Point is a peninsula of coasters, not a Disney height chart. Most headline machines in this index sit at 122 cm or 132 cm, with Raptor at 137 cm. Some trains also publish a maximum rider height — Maverick is the usual example.

11 attractions currently have a figure here. 137 cm / 54 in: Raptor. 132 cm / 52 in: Steel Vengeance, GateKeeper, Valravn, Siren's Curse, Top Thrill 2, Maverick. 122 cm / 48 in: Millennium Force, Magnum XL-200, Blue Streak, Corkscrew.

How to split a mixed-height group

Measure riders the night before, in socks, against a proper mark. If someone is within a couple of centimetres of a line, assume they may be turned away and have a fallback in the same land.

• Millennium Force at 122 cm is the giga more of a mixed group can share.
• Steel Vengeance at 132 cm is the RMC hybrid enthusiasts put first.
• Maverick at 132 cm also has a maximum height rule. Read Cedar Point’s chart if you are very tall.
• Top Thrill 2 is 132 cm and a 193 km/h spike — check it is actually running before you camp the queue.

Maximum height is a real Cedar Point problem

A lot of height guides only print minima. On Maverick in particular, taller riders get turned away at the platform. If anyone in the group is well over six feet, open the official chart before you treat 132 cm as a yes.

The peninsula is long. Split the group at Frontier Town (Steel Vengeance, Maverick) rather than sending people back to the gate alone.
